Holiday Mini Sessions 2018

UPDATE:  SOLD OUT!  Please email me if you would like to be included to the mailing list for future mini sessions!  Thank you!

Well hellloooooo there!!  This year has been a whirlwind filled with so much love and life that I cant help but be excited about what is next!  🙂  I know, I know, it’s been a year since I’ve gotten around to writing anything on the blog but please forgive me as I have been on the path of growth both mentally and emotionally.  I am just truly grateful that you are still here and I can’t thank you enough for continuing to support Letlove in all it’s glory and the lack thereof.  I have learned so much about love, life, self discovery and not all moments were rainbow unicorns, however, I can tell you that my heart is FULL!  I have never been more in awe of people I meet and I have such mad respect for my clients, my family, my friends and just YOU.  Yes YOU!  So.. THANK YOU for being here.  🙂

Anyway, if you find yourself contemplating with the idea of a (crazy-beautiful, fun) family holiday mini shoot this year, let me tell you… the answer is YES!  As I am focused on becoming more mature (not older lol) I am realizing how time is so important.   I sometimes forget that what matters is what is directly in front of me, us, YOU….and the importance of creating opportunities to cherish them.  I hope to help you with doing that by capturing you and what matters to you most.  Feel me?

Hollar at yo girl cause I’m here for ya!  Let’s get crazyl!!!  <3

2014 Holiday Mini Sessions~ Sunday,11/9 + Saturday,11/22

It’s been a while since I have actually paid attention to the television without working on some edits or figuring out a way to dominate this thing we call life.  After 10 minutes of yelling out answers to Family Feud, I saw my first holiday commercial and realized, I am a bit late to posting my mini sessions!  Gaaaah!  So… I hopped on my computer and googled- “How many weeks before Christmas?”  I cannot believe how the days have creeped up so fast while my eyes read thirteen weeks!!! 13 weeks my friends!  Soooooo…. Forgive me if I provoke a rush of anxiety in you, but it’s time for Letlove Photography’s 2014 Holiday Minis!!!  I had such a great time last year and I am excited to see what’s in store for us this time around!  🙂

A little update of me this year: Many things have happened, not so much in my environment, but a ton in my heart, mind, and soul… (For those of you who do not know, I went through a very dark time in my life in 2013 and I am forever indebted to those who have helped lead me back into my light).  I am learning to trust in my heart again.  It is an awakening, and I have realized that loving again means to really look inside of myself and allow for growth in my mistakes and in triumphs.  The transitions in my life has been steady.  However, fear of opening my heart is something I’m working on.  I am allowing my heart to continue to grow and my mind receptive to a new way of thinking.  It hasn’t been easy but it is a challenge I am embracing.  My soul is still passionate, sometimes insecure and uncertain.  However in all of this, I am grateful for my path and photography has definitely been my backbone in all of this.  I also cannot forget Adora!  She remains the tickle in my heart…  I have met so many people in the last year and in one way or another they have taught me humility, resilience and strength.  What a year for me!  🙂  In all of this, I am excited to document your family this year with a whole new perspective along with a ton of gratitude and admiration for all you.  I can’t wait to see or meet your beautiful family and to help you treasure your year of 2014!

Please email me to make your reservation!

Below are just a few of my 2013 holiday session faves:

Aleman Family Portraits-Newborn Session, Martinez, CA

I can’t really begin to explain the beauty of this family. I have known Hazel for over 20 years. She is like a sibling to me and I feel the same way about her loving husband Jose. They have been a great example of how good friends can turn into family. When their son was born, I was able to watch these two grow into loving parents who can tackle the world as long as they put their family first. Now with their second child, I don’t even have the words to explain how much I look to them for their ability to love each other as husband and wife along with being amazing parents for two beautiful lucky kids.

Haze and Jing, thank you for your example and for all the love you give me. I love you guys more than I can explain.

Kat and Drew’s Newborn and Family shoot, Pacifica, CA

What a pleasure for me to be able to have these guys in front of my camera once again, but only this time around, they have their newest addition to the family, little handsome Dylan.  The family walks in, calm and there was an essence of newness, and overall sweetness.  It was the sight of Kylie’s face that displayed so much pride as a big sister, the touch of Drew’s hand trying to comfort him while he soothes him back to sleep and the look of a mother while holding him in her arms.  It was all very new but somehow they have fallen into a certain role that has created a new dynamic in their family.  It was delightful and I’m so happy that I got to witness this.

Kat and Drew, thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your family.  I am so happy for you all and I can’t wait to continue documenting these special moments for you.

Look, feel, remember…

The beautiful family of Michelle And Thomas… Family portraits, SF, CA

Thomas and Michelle walked in with bags of items as if they were going away for the week, but really they were just there for a photo shoot. =) One quietly sat down on his phone waiting to begin, while the other was constantly asking questions. One was getting changed while the other was being fed. I admire these two. They love each other so much and I see it through their children, sweet, sometimes demanding but all for love. Jeremiah the eldest (a skateboarder) is very sweet, patient and helpful.  Skye the “somewhat middle child” who is a bit demanding, a ballerina who loves Niki Minaj is still adjusting to her new role as an older sister, to not one but two new siblings. Aidan and Ariana, twins but complete opposites, not in just gender, but in size, and temperaments. How do they all balance?

Well, it’s because of Thomas and Michelle. They are a team and there are times where things get chaotic and one might just want to hide out in a hole somewhere and come back in a few weeks, but the love they have for their kids and for each other is ENORMOUS.

Michelle and Thomas, thank you. Thank you for letting me see such love that is so real and precious. I am proud of the couple you have become and of course, wonderful parents at that.  I had such a fun time getting to know all of you as a family; I hope you enjoy seeing how beautiful you guys are in these photographs!  xo

Look, feel, remember…

P.S. Thank you to my Lovey, for holding a newborn for the first time without hesitation. Best babysitter
ever. =)
