I was given the opportunity to have these two sweethearts in front of my camera, and it was fun and easy because their love is so evident.
Trish and OJ, thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your hearts. Love you guys to pieces!!
I had known Melanie since we were little (thanks to the small filipino community) in a town called Rohnert Park! Can I get a woop-woop?! We crossed paths again in the tricities of Washington. We were both silly young girls attending Hanford high just trying to live life as a teenager. I moved back to California shortly and fast forward many years later she reached out to me and told me she was getting married in San Francisco! It had been so long since I’ve seen her and she was still beautiful, funny, sweet and she just glowed. She carried an essence with her that you can also feel in her husband and their two children. They were a unit and their excitement for their union was felt from the moment I saw them. It was an experience that I will remember. I knew Melanie from our childhood days, but to get to know her now was refreshing and inspiring.
Melanie and Andy, thank you for letting me be a part of your amazing day. I am just in awe of the way you two look at each other- but more so the way your kids love you both. <3

I remember seeing Wei for the first time outside of SF City Hall, she was stunning. No wedding fuss, no bouquet, no timeline just her in her simple but elegant dress. Wei and I waited for Steve to obtain permission from the city so they are free to partake in their day of commitment-to love each other forever… and ever.
They had a few people stand in as their witnesses- at the top of the hill, a breathtaking back drop of the ocean, + Golden Gate bridge along the side of Sutro Baths. It was just like them. Sweet, and simply beautiful. I hope you enjoy them…
Steve and Wei-Wei. Thank you. Loved every moment. <3
They are both from Chicago and when Justin accepted a position in San Francisco they decided to make their big move together. Justin moved out to SF first and more than ever he knew he could not live without Diana. Shortly after he moved to SF they talked about marriage. He gave her a watermelon ring-pop (her fav!) the day she arrived for her visit, had a bouquet made special just for her, officially proposed, and the same day they eloped. I was lucky enough that they reached out to me to document such a special moment. It was perfect.
Diana and Justin, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture this special time for you. You guys have such a tenderness for each other, and the way you set your eyes on one another, makes me feel like falling inlove all over again. Thank you.
Kim and Ave, I love how you guys make each other laugh. And when it comes to feeling nervous, unsure, or filled with raw emotions, I love even more when you guys comfort one another. You show why you belong together. It’s love like yours that truly encourages my art for photography. Thank you for choosing me to share your special day. Congratulations to you both! Love you guys!
look, feel, remember…
p.s. special thanks to my lovey.
